I Rhia Nichole Ogle Jimenez am short. There is absolutely nothing I can do about my height. I believe I have stopped growing. The other day I found out that both of my sisters are taller than me. Let me rephrase this, both of my YOUNGER sisters are taller than me. I was kind of irritated, but that's okay I think I have finally accepted this.
Anyway to get back on track I am constantly struggling with my thoughts. Society comes at people and says you have to look like this and that to be beautiful. Society defines what you need to have in order to succeed. Society says so many things about who and what your supposed to be to fit into this world, but this is me saying I am not society I am just plain me. I don't agree with what they say. Who are they to define me? I am defined by God and I don't and will never truly belong to society because I am not of this world. I am just visiting my real home is where God is in heaven.
God has made us unique. Everyone is unique. Everyone has something that no one else can have. When God created us he looked at us and said that his creation was good. He said that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Each person has a purpose in life that God has called them out to do. Now when people start coming at me saying that I'm too fat, I'm ugly, I can't do this or that, I'm too short, I don't measure up God comes to me and says I am good just the way he has made me.
When we see are self at a disadvantage I believe there is a purpose for all of our limitations. Maybe when we finally overcome the challenges in life we can go to a person who is struggling and say to them hey you can do it. I did it because I had the strength that God has given me. I believe each disadvantage is there for a purpose we can't let it get us down we have to keep moving forward and trust that God will use us just the way we are to accomplish mighty things with his help.
I'll post additional thoughts later. I wrote them earlier in the car. Tomorrow they will be up when there is light. God bless!
