Mark 12:30-31
New Living Translation (NLT)
30 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’[a] 31 The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] No other commandment is greater than these.”
Let now our hearts burn with a flame
A fire consuming all for your Son's holy name
And with the heavens we declare
You are our king
We love you Lord, we worship you
You are our God, you alone are good
A fire consuming all for your Son's holy name
And with the heavens we declare
You are our king
We love you Lord, we worship you
You are our God, you alone are good

On Sunday I stopped by my friends house before church to grab my stuff. As I was exiting her house she said Rhia you are so irresponsible. I said yes I am but God still loves me! Don't judge me! There is only one judge and he is God. Life brings me many opportunities to meet various types of people. Every single person I meet is unique. The differences poses a risk in my mind. JUDGEMENT. When I see something I don't necessarily like or when I am around something new I must be quick to shut every thought up.
I have no right to judge anyone. Who am I to ever say that I am better than someone? I am not. I have my own flaws. I fight my own battles. Yes I am irresponsible. Goodness I am a lot of other things too. The good news is that God sees every crack and crevice in my personality and features yet he loves me. His love is unconditional. UNCONDITIONAL. That means he knows every mistake I have and will make and he loves me. He loves me enough to forgive me when I sin. He loves me enough to take my broken dirty bonded heart and wipe the stains away. He breaks the chains. He puts the pieces back together. He looks past it all and loves me. His love is true love. His love works in me and changes me each day.
So when people do something I don't like or if they hurt me I will look past it all and choose to love. For every judgement that decides to creep up behind me I will tie a cement block to those words and throw them into a DEEP lake. I will replace those words with love. I will not judge I will love. The world needs more love and I'm going to give it a heavy dose. Let God's will be done.
1 Corinthians 13
Love Is the Greatest
1 If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. 3 If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it;[a] but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. 4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
8 Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages[b] and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! 9 Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! 10 But when full understanding comes, these partial things will become useless.
11 When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. 12 Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity.[c] All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.
13 Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.
